Just been asked by a client to set up a camera which auto pans across a room.
We'll be using a PD170 but are having trouble finding a tripod head which can be set to pan remotely. There'll be limited access to the cam once it's set up,
has anyone done this before or know where to source such an item.

Thanks for your help,
Paul.

The type of remote pan and tilt from Hague is sold by many people - I got mine from Jessops a long time ago.

They can be set to auto-pan or controled via a long cable - I made my own 100' plus

they'll normally only do about 300 degreees

Just bought this one from Hague http://www.b-hague.co.uk/pan__tilt_power_head.htm for a remote camera that is monitored about 15m away but need an extension cable (15m) to control the Varizoom. Anyone know where they can be obtained in this length. I think they are just a 2.5mm stereo cable but could be wrong. Keenes do them in multiples of 5m but would a one off length.
