Does anyone have information about how to use DV.Go! in combination with premiere 6. I am running W2000. The main problem I have is recording a movie back to my Sony TVR110E.
Hi there 'rmennink', (please let us know your first name at least!)
I have not personally tried this but I am confident that DV.go! really should work as well with Adobe Premiere 6.x as any other OHCI compliant IEEE.1394 FireWire adapter.
It has been about eight months or so since I looked at DV.go! and so cannot remember if it appears with Windows Device manager as a standard Texas Instruments FireWire device or is listed specifically as a FAST device. If it is the former then, as I have said above, there should be no problem with Premiere 6.x or at least no different than with any other supported FireWire device; if it does appear as 'FAST DV.go!' you may need to set up a different hardware profile and use the standard Texas Instrument device driver for use with Premiere 6.x.
Hopefully one of the FAST boys will jump in with something a little more definitive.
In any event, I note that you say you are having problems recording a movie back to your Sony TRV110E but what precisely is occurring?

Hi there, thanks for your reply, first name is Ruud.
The problem with export to tape is that nothing is recorder. I can see that the videocamera is going to the right start position, it is starting with recording, the premiere screen gets black. After the recording everything looks fine but nothing is recorded.
