I have just downloaded a trial of Edius. The download is version 6.5, 3.5 and Express. They are selected when running the trial.
I only want version 3 as the others are too expensive for my needs.

Running 3.5, it is in NTSC and I cannot find a way to change to PAL.  This is not the best way to demonstrate software, so I hope there is a simple answer, or it will be back to Elements which at least works.

Re: Edius stuck in NTSC.
My account with Grass valley clearly indicates that I live in the UK.

The program I have, does not have any PAL pre-sets.
Edius Neo 3 appears to be unavailable for download. Why?

I have also tried several times to download Pinnacle Studio which does not seem to have a trial. I am wondering what is happening to these companies that advertise but can`t deliver.

Why not contact Ringo at DVC he might be able to help!

Re: Edius stuck in NTSC.
I am running Edius 6.08 so this may be of no help whatsoever but when I start Edius I have a screen that allows me to start a new project. If I select a new project and then select "customize" and click "ok" I am able to choose a video preset from a drop down list. This list consists of lots of different Pal and NTSC options.

As I said, this may be of no use at all.

Best wishes

Thanks very much Ken, it is very useful.

Starting a new project has seven presets, all different flavours of AVCHD and HD. I obviously didn`t pick the correct one to modify.

All I have to do now, is learn to drive it....

Thanks Barry, I don`t have anything from DVC, so I don`t think it fair to worry them. I think it`s sorted now.

Although we`ve still got a "Liquid" system, we bought an Edius system from DVC a couple of years back, generally pleased with it! Learning a new system can be difficult but Edius fits the bill for us. Liquid is now consigned just for madam to edit the grandchildren stuff onsmiley
