Fast.Forward installation stops under w2k- No Hardware??

I'm trying to install the FAST DV.now AV (1.4) under win2k, but it always shows "no Hardware detected (Fast.Forward V.1.7) . I already deleted the Texas Instruments IEE1394-Controller (found by the system while OS-Installation). The System IS DELL 4300 (where in Hell can I Stop Automatic Plug'n'Play in That shitty BIOS?).

I Have no Adobe Premiere Software installed - Is it necessary to do so before installing the Hardware ???

YES....Premiere or Uleads MS Pro must always be installed before the card is inserted into the Pc and the drivers/capture software is installed.
