I know the purists among you will scoff at this, but its such a good camera 27mm wide to 486mm (35mm Equivalent) just been to Egypt and took over 500 photos and they are superb. Had an Olympus E500 SLR back along and this Panny wipes the floor with it. Will also take 720p HD video as well which is also quite good, but you need a big old card for that. Shame the actual prints didnt come out as expected(used Boots) I have printed several out using my epson R585 & there is much more detail in those
