Interested to read the critique on this product and I would like to acquire it at the price of £29 (inc vat).

Pinnacle e-store says £44.99 as does PC World.

Can anyone direct me to the source of the quoted price?

Thanks, Alan Wells

Most decent web shops have them at less than £29 and I think one was doing the OEM version for under £10!

Try using google.

Pinnacle rang up complaining to us about the price we published in the review but it was correct, I'm pretty sure, at the time we went to press - though the company we listed in the review as having it at that price has now increased its price.

I think you'll find that www.dabs.com still has for much the same price we quoted, though perhaps a quid (or so) more.

Including p&p, £34.00, not a problem with that price, and if it had been £29 in PC World, I would have bought it.

Now that I have had a look around, the negative vibes that have been given about the VOB product (ver 7.0 or earlier?), I think that I will pass for the time being - but then again, Peter Wells gave it such a good write-up!

Any chance of a "wee shottie" of his test version so that I can be sure?

Alan Wells. (although from Aberdeen, I am not really a tight b*****d!)

I was in PC World yesterday. The have versions of Instant Copy and Instant CD/DVD. The person who priced them obviously could not tell the differnce with CD/DVD being priced at £29 and £44
