Re Caddies and DMA66 drives

Should my new DMA66 (36gb) drive with the 80 pin cables work with the caddie i intend to install...
I plan to install the disks,caddie, cd writer
in the next week and want to be prepared

Yes!!!
(Thank goodness!)

The only issue is whether your motherboard supports ATA66 properly. If not (and most don't) then you'll need to download from the drive maker's web site a DOS program that gets the drive to report itself to the PC as being an ATA33 model (after which, it should run like an express train).
