Showing Lines after capture Video

Hello,

I`m using Premiere 6.5 and DV.Now AV Fast.Forward v1.7. and Canon XL1s DV Camcorder. Capturing works fine and importing to Premiere works fine. Qualitiy looks also very good on a TV Screen, BUT on on a Computer Screen using Fast.DV Player or any other I can see horizontal lines. I guess this has something to do with the Fields adjustment: "No Fileds" "Upper Fields" "Lower Fields". Is there a possibility to avoid this by changing any option in Fast.Forward before capturing.
Or any other solution.

Thank you for any hint.

Hello Walter,

The DV.now AV captures the lower field first. Can't change this option. Changing from "hardware inlay" to "software inlay" or vice versa from with the FF interface may make an improvement as well.

Criterion:
If the video plays back smoothly in most software, IE Premiere & FAST.forward, then everything is fine. The FAST media player I am not overly familiar with, but it may be trying to locate a different Codec than the standard Microsoft DV-AVI.

Check Canopus's new Codec. It allows the user to create a suitable Microsoft or Premiere AVI Codec. It's also free!
