Switching From Fast.Forward To Adobe Premiere

When switching to Premiere I would have expected the project settings to be correctly set up for FAST DV. This is not happening. The editing mode is set to Video for Windows with a 29.97 timebase, 25fps time display, frame size of 640 x 480, compressor Cinepak codec by Radius and 16bit stereo 44Khz audio.

If I start up Premiere independently I can select FAST DV (PAL) in the Load Project Settings dialog box after which the settings are correct.

Yes, I installed Premiere before DV.Now, otherwise the FAST DV settings would not be available on starting Premiere.

Is anybody else experiencing this?

Any comment from FAST please?

I tested this again just to be sure. According to the manual,

'When starting Adobe Premiere from the FAST.forward user interface, the
Adobe Premiere project settings are automatically set to FAST DV PAL'.

This is *not* happening as described in my original post.

What versions of DV.now and Premiere are you using? Do not try to use Premiere 6.0 until the FAST drivers compatible with Premiere 6.0 are released. Also, make sure you are using the latest version of DV.now software, 1.5.
Yes, it should automatically be set to to PAL when you start Premiere. Try launching Premiere and then setting it manually to FAST DV PAL, 25fps, 720x576, and then it should 'remember' those settings the next time.

Sorry, I should have said. I am using Fast.Forward 1.5 build 0207_A and Premiere 5.1LE.

I tried your suggestion and it worked, thank you.

Doesn't this mean though that Premiere is just using the last setting rather than Fast.Forward forcing the FAST DV PAL setting; and that if I set Premiere to export in a different format, the next time I switch to Premiere from within Fast.Forward it will revert to the incorrect settings?
