[I was unable to accept the following request due to other projects and offered to post on a few message boards in case someone else is able to help out. If interested, please contact Floyd directly saying you're from the DV Doctor community].

Hi there,

I am located in Toronto Canada but am calling on behalf of a conference happening in the UK, at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Center next week, Wed-Fri, called Qcon: http://qcon.infoq.com. We wish to film the technical presentations from the event and need 3 camera people for 3 days each wed-fri.

Requirements:
- minimum prosumer camera quality
- constant tight shot of speaker with panning to keep them centered, these will be output on the web in a format exactly like this: http://www.infoq.com/presentations/soa-master-class-patterns
- wireless lav mic setup (camera man must mic the speaker) + optional XLR input for house system if needed
- each session is one hour and should be filmed on one mini-dv tape. All tapes delivered to us at the end of the conference.
- each camera person will be in one room for the whole day, filming a total of 5 sessions (5 hours)/day/camera man

Schedule:
Wednesday sessions * 3 separate rooms:
11am - 12:pm
1:00pm - 2:00pm
2:30pm - 3:30pm
4:00pm - 5:00pm
5:15pm - 6:00pm

Thursday sessions * 3 separate rooms:
11am - 12:pm
1:00pm - 2:00pm
2:30pm - 3:30pm
4:00pm - 5:00pm
5:15pm - 6:00pm

Friday sessions * 3 separate rooms:
9:45am - 10:45am
11:00am - 12:pm
1:00pm - 2:00pm
2:30pm - 3:30pm
4:00pm - 5:00pm

Also, it would be nice if there coudl be some kind of flood light at the back of the room to project some light onto the speaker (enough just for a good low-lux camera to pick up) since these rooms are typically quite dim).

Please get back to me asap with a quote and confirmation if you can make it! I live in Toronto so am 5 hours behind you.

Floyd

Thanks for posting this Butrus.

I have quoted for this and would strongly advise any doing the same to be paid up front or as you go along as we are handing tapes over at the end of the day to a non UK based company and would therefore have no way of enforcing any sort of payment afterwards.
