I'm sure there is a very simple way to achieve this effect - but if I knew it, I wouldn't be asking...
I quite 'simply' want to create the look where video is visible beneath text - as if the text was 100% opaque.
So what you might see would be a black screen with a word overlayed on a video. The video would be seen in the letters.
Hope this makes sense.
I have AVID with Boris Graffiti and FX.
Thanks!
wrigley video have one on the web for premiere , but if you look at the tutorial , you should be able to re-do in whatever software you have.

Hi James,
I'm not clear on your objective - willing to pay whatever, but not a pc??
Are you saying you need the chroma for a live presentation?
Check out these guys
http://reflecmedia.com/content.aspx?Content=chromaflex.htm
They have demos at trade shows (videoforum event in London) with girl on skis...on cloth which is keyeyd out for water wake behind..from video file.. mixed live to display (though normally intended as post production appplication).
there are loads of stand alone boxes that will do chromakey. The MX50 mixer is very common and you can hire it
You should be able to create a black screen with things visual through the text using masks in After Effects, similar to how you would in Photoshop for a 2d image.
