Sorry this is rather rushed, but does anyone know of a web page that shows the 'conventional' way in which wedding photos should be taken, i.e. who stands where and next to whom?
Cheers, Chirpy.

...and before anyone else says it - I know the Bride stands next to the Groom!!!
If you need to ask, maybe you should think of employing a 'pro photographer!
Seriously, try http://johnlind.tripod.com/wedding/ or try local library for books on wedding photog. If your really stuck, email me off the board for a 'Email' crash course!

Yes Dave I'd agree - but it was family...and it was this afternoon so I've only just read your message.
Actually, I hate doing wedding photos. I try to tell people that wedding photos are too important to just get anyone to do. but as I did my nephews five years ago , it was difficult to say no to my niece. Anyway, I've done them now.
Thanks all the same...and that link to http://johnlind.tripod.com/wedding/ was brilliant - maybe it's a good job I didn't read it till I got home. (I might've run away!)
Cheers,
Chirpy.
Got a question for all the people who do photos/videos of weddings for friends / relatives.
How many of the people you did the work for could tell you exactly where the tapes/album are ?
I have done 4 wedding videos for friends/relatives in the last 6 years.... not one of them could find the wedding videos within an hour of asking.
My sister in law cannot remember where her 5-year-old wedding album (£1500) is, never mind when she opened it last.

Looks like I'm following you around the forum tonight Gary.

Actually, just after I'd put my message on the forum this morning I asked Tracey where our photos were. She opened the wardrobe and took them straight out!!!
Chirpy.
Are you sure is was the wardrobe, and not the sock draw ??

Fisherman, if you could see our sock drawers you'd know there's definately no room for any photo albums - Tracey's dad is a rep for Dory Dory. (they supply socks to Harrods!)
The contents of our sock drawers are probably worth more than my computer - and that's saying something!!!
Chirpy.
Are you working from memory Fisherman?
