I have been using EDIUS for years now on Win XP 32bit for all my edit needs....However I have been forced to upgrade to a new PC and I now have EDIUS 5.51 on a Win 7 64bit pc - works very well too!
I have been using a couple of software packages for years...DVD WORKSHOP for fast SD DVD in 4:3 so if I get some VHS to dvd and they are in 4:3 I use that, works a treat and has never produced a duff disc.
For BD-R creation I have had a lot of success with DVDitPROHD and encoded MPEG 2 files from EDIUS and again not had any duff discs, after a lot of testing on many BD players I never had a rejection of a disc either.
Although I was asked to leave a Currys once after trying 10 different players - I did not realise my disc was being shown on 60 odd tv's across the store - LOL
To my question
On a Win 7 64 PC what is currently being used as a general software application for BD-R creation?
I see EDIUS 5.51 has some disc creation built in BUT I have not explored this yet - I like a stand alone to be honest - like DVD-IT or similar
What are you guys and gals using yourselves
Thanks in advance
